National Student Exchange Office

Study Away in the United States!  There are nearly 180 universities in 49 states, 维尔京群岛, 关岛, 加拿大, and Puerto Rico in the National Student Exchange (NSE) school consortium. You could be one of thousands of students nationwide that participate in NSE and study at a different institution. 

This program offers students the opportunity to experience a different academic environment while maintaining progress toward academic goals, expanding academic options, clarifying personal and professional goals, seeing the United States and experiencing its diversity of cultures, values and lifestyles.

How the Program Works

UW-Eau Claire students accepted to the NSE program maintain their status at UW-Eau Claire while spending a semester or academic year at the chosen host institution and pay (澳门葡京网赌送彩金) tuition fees.

成本

学费 and/or fees are paid to UW-Eau Claire 为 the duration of the exchange program. Expenses 为 room and board are paid to the host school. Transportation and incidental expenses are the student's responsibility. The NSE Coordinator can provide estimated cost breakdowns 为 such expenses. 金融援助 is often available. A fee will be assessed with the application. This fee is 为warded to the national office of NSE and confirms your application.

Interested students are asked to attend an in为mation meeting to learn about the program, the application and placement process.

学分

An advising agreement completed prior to departure ensures that all the course work taken at the host institution will transfer back to UW-Eau Claire. All grades and credits received while on exchange will be computed into your total GPA at UW-Eau Claire. To assist you in determining the 澳门葡京网赌送彩金 course equivalency 为 classes taken while on exchange, 参考 澳门葡京网赌送彩金 Transfer Credit Wizard.  Note that the courses listed in the Transfer Credit Wizard are courses that have already been evaluated.  You are NOT limited to the courses listed.  

资格

The minimum requirements 为 application are:

• Current full-time enrollment at UW-Eau Claire (12 credits or more)
• Cumulative overall GPA of at least 2.5
• Completion of 30 semester credits by the time of exchange
• Good academic, financial, and social standing
